Bridge Spanning Mississippi River Closed This Week for Repairs

Summary

The Mississippi River bridge that connects Lansing, Iowa, to De Soto, Wis., is being repaired this week, causing a big inconvenience for some commuters. Some workers might have to commute 70 miles to cross the nearest bridges at either Prairie du Chien, Wis., or La Crosse.
