SPRINGFIELD (AP) - Gov. Rod Blagojevich wants to create two special prison units devoted to treating methamphetamine addicts and helping them establish new lives after their release.

Blagojevich's State of the State address Wednesday will include the proposal for a meth unit at the Southwestern Illinois Correctional Center in East St. Louis in the coming year and one at the Sheridan prison next year, aides said. Each unit would have space for 200 people.
