Summary


Jury selection for the federal corruption trial of former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich began Thursday. Blagojevich is accused of trying to sell Obama's old Senate seat after the 2008 election, along with 24 counts of racketeering, fraud, extortion and bribery.

Two senior members of Obama's administration have been subpoenaed as witnesses for the trial, taking place in a federal courtroom in Chicago. The names of the jurors will remain anonymous.
