Bible Says People Are 'Born This Way'

Summary


I admit I don't know Lady Gaga from the Goo Goo Dolls, but I was intrigued by a lyric I heard broadcast from a business's sound system. The woman - I found out later was Gaga - was singing: "I'm beautiful in my way, 'cause God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way. Don't hide yourself in regret, just love yourself and you're set. I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way."

I looked up the rest of the lyrics to "Born This Way" when I got home and discovered the popular song makes theological statements. It teaches that people are created by God. It defines sin, or rather, what it is not. It assigns the genesis of man's instincts. And it suggests how to resolve the pangs of conscious.
