Bagley Residents' Lawsuit Against Railroad Dismissed

MADISON, Wis. - A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit Bagley residents brought against the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad seeking more than $5 million for flood damage allegedly caused by railway negligence in 2007.

District Judge Barbara Crabb dismissed the railroad from the suit in October and on Thursday closed the case against two railroad employees, concluding time had expired on claims the residents' attorneys should have raised previously.
