CUBA CITY, Wis. - Folks around southwest Wisconsin looked forward to Tuesday night's non-conference girls prep basketball showdown in Jerry Petitgoue Gymnasium here between the Cuba City Cubans and Lancaster Flying Arrows, two of the premier teams in this corner of the state last season.

Both teams enjoyed great success in 2004-05, and both bring back the vast majority of their rosters. Each won a conference championship, and the Cubans compiled an undefeated season while claiming the WIAA Division 3 state title.
