Dubuque Receives Grant for Generation Green

EPA Region 7 has awarded eight grants totaling $190,000 to develop new environmental education projects. The city of Dubuque received $28,000 for the Generation Green project.

Law Enforcement Agencies to Receive Grants

Local law enforcement agencies will receive more than $87,000 in grants from a federal program. The Dubuque County Sheriff's Department will use $11,384 and the Dubuque Police Department will receive $76,083. The sheriff's department will purchase a boat with a trailer.
